Ms. Brinda Bhoopathy, a 2015 batch officer of the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes), has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) under the Department of Commerce, New Delhi.
Her appointment is on a deputation basis under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure of four years from the date of assumption of charge. This posting places her at the forefront of India’s trade protection and policy enforcement mechanisms.
