The Government of Chhattisgarh has executed a significant reshuffle in its police department, transferring more than a dozen Indian Police Service (IPS) officers to key positions across the state. The overhaul includes the appointment of new Inspectors General (IG) for the Bilaspur, Durg, and Rajnandgaon ranges. A major focus of this reshuffle is the restructuring of Raipur City‘s leadership, with several new Deputy Police Commissioners (DPC) appointed to handle specific zones and specialized units like Crime, Cyber, and Traffic.
