Italian investigative journalist Francesca Marino has warned that the suicide bombing at Delhi’s Red Fort (which killed 15 on November 10th) is not an isolated incident but part of a broader revival of the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), according to her new book, ‘From Pulwama to Payback – The Inside Story’; Marino stressed that the attack, which used the volatile TATP (“Mother of Satan”) explosive, fits JeM’s doctrine of revenge and that the group is now “rebuilding aggressively,” even establishing a woman suicide bomber wing.
