NEW DELHI — The Directorate of Enforcement (ED), under the Government of India, has executed a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, issuing multiple orders for the promotion, transfer, and additional charge assignments of senior officials. The directive, dated March 23, 2026, impacts several key zonal and headquarters-level positions.
Promotion & New Postings:
Consequent upon a Department of Revenue order dated March 20, 2026, the ED has cleared the appointment of Sh. Praveen Kumar Bharal to the post of Joint Director of Enforcement (Level-12 Pay Matrix).
Upon his promotion, Bharal is posted as ADE/JDE (HYZO) at the Hyderabad Zonal Office, effective from March 25, 2026.
Senior Transfers:
In a major headquarters-level shift, Sh. Navaneet Agrawal, previously serving as ADE/JDE (GNZO) in the Gurugram Zonal Office, has been transferred with immediate effect. Agrawal will now hold the charge of ADE/JDE (Admn. & Accounts) at the ED Headquarters Office in New Delhi.
Additional Charge Assignments:
To streamline operations, the Directorate has assigned critical additional responsibilities to seasoned Additional and Joint Directors:

Sh. Vinay Kaushal (ADE): Currently holding substantive charge of ADE/JDE (HIU-2) at the Headquarters Office, Kaushal will take additional charge as ADE/JDE (AMZO) at the Ahmedabad Zonal Office, effective March 27, 2026.

Sh. Navaneet Agrawal (JDE): In addition to his new primary posting in Administration, Agrawal will concurrently hold the additional charges of ADE/JDE (GNZO) at the Gurugram Zonal Office and ADE/JDE (SRZO) at the Srinagar Zonal Office.

Smt. Gurvinder Kaur (JDE): Retaining her substantive charge as ADE/JDE (CDZO-II) in the Chandigarh Zonal Office-II, Kaur has also been assigned the additional charge of ADE/JDE (CDZO-I) in the Chandigarh Zonal Office-I.
These postings and additional responsibilities are to be maintained until further orders.
