NEW DELHI (Feb 16, 2026) — Bharathi Sivaswami Sihag, a retired 1983 batch IAS officer, has been officially empanelled for appointment as an Independent External Monitor (IEM).
The move recognizes her extensive administrative experience at the highest levels of the Indian bureaucracy, most notably her tenure as Secretary to the Department of Fertilizers.
