Anoop Kumar Sharma, the retired Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of The Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), has been empanelled for appointment as an Independent External Monitor (IEM). This role is a critical part of the integrity framework for Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and government organizations. Leveraging his extensive leadership experience in the maritime and logistics sectors, Sharma will now serve as a neutral third party to oversee high-value procurement processes, ensuring transparency, equity, and compliance with the Integrity Pact mandated by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
