In a historic appointment, IAS officer Medha Roopam has taken charge as the first-ever woman District Magistrate (DM) of Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida).
A 2014 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, Medha Roopam’s posting marks a significant milestone for the district administration. She has previously served in various administrative capacities in Uttar Pradesh and is known for her efficient governance and people-oriented approach.
Her appointment is expected to bring a renewed focus on women’s safety, urban governance, and citizen-centric administration in one of UP’s fastest-growing districts.
