Mr. Jitendra Shukla, a 2013-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, has been appointed as Group Commander in the National Security Guard (NSG). Known for his tactical expertise and experience in anti-insurgency operations, Mr. Shukla moves to this elite federal counter-terrorism unit on central deputation. In his new role, he will lead specialized teams responsible for high-risk security operations and counter-terror mandates, bringing his field experience from the critical security landscape of Chhattisgarh to the national level.
