Kunal Uttam Shrote, a 2021 batch IPS officer originally allotted to the Manipur cadre, has been transferred to the Tamil Nadu cadre on the grounds of his inter-cadre marriage with Mrs. Meera.
The transfer has been approved under the Government of India’s policy to facilitate the posting of married officers in the same state, ensuring administrative convenience and family unification.
