In a fresh administrative realignment within the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territories) cadre, Mr. Rajinder Kumar Gupta, a 2014-batch IPS officer, has been transferred from the Jammu & Kashmir segment to the Puducherry segment. The move, ordered by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), shifts an officer with significant experience in high-pressure security environments to the coastal Union Territory. His tenure in J&K was marked by critical assignments in various wings, including the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and district policing.
