Sasanka Sarmah, a 2002 batch IRPS (Indian Railway Personnel Service) officer, has been appointed as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) for the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), headquartered in Shillong. His appointment is at the Joint Secretary (JS) level for an initial period of three years.
