IRS Officers Amir Akhtar, Rakhi Vimal, and Rajeev Jain Take Up New OSD Postings

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has issued new posting orders for several Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers, marking their transition into specialized “Officer on Special Duty” (OSD) roles. Amir Akhtar has been appointed to the office of the Principal Director General of Income Tax (Admin. & Tax Payer Services). Concurrently, Ms. Rakhi Vimal and Mr. Rajeev Jain have rejoined the department following the completion of their external deputations, taking up key administrative positions in the Delhi and UP (West) regions, respectively.
