Ajay Kumar, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE), has been permanently absorbed into the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL). Concurrently with this permanent transfer, he is officially considered to have retired from his service with the Indian Railways.
