Prem Sagar Gupta (IRSE: 1990), an Indian Railway Service of Engineers officer, who was serving at the apex level as Principal Executive Director (PED), Civil Engineering (Planning) [CE (P)] in the Railway Board (responsible for planning civil engineering works nationwide), has been transferred to Northern Railway (NR) and posted as the Principal Chief Engineer (PCE); in his new zonal role, he will be the technical and administrative head of all Civil Engineering assets—including railway tracks, bridges, and buildings—across the largest railway zone in India.
