In a significant move within the central bureaucracy, Mr. Aadhar Raj, an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer, has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Power. Currently serving as the Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) (Commercial) at Danapur (DNR) under the East Central Railway, his new assignment is on a deputation basis for a tenure of five years. This appointment comes at a critical juncture as the Ministry focuses on grid stability, green energy integration, and power sector reforms.
