Narendra Kumar Agrawal, an officer of the Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS), has declined his promotion to the Senior Administrative Grade (SAG), as per a recent directive from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) dated July 7, 2025.
Despite the promotion order being issued on February 10, 2025, Agrawal has chosen to remain in the Junior Administrative Grade (JAG). Following this decision, the DoT has stated that he will not be considered for further promotion until June 24, 2026.
