Ramesh Kumar Verma (ITradeS: 2013), who was serving as Deputy Secretary in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), has been granted premature repatriation (curtailment of his Central Deputation tenure) to his parent cadre on personal grounds; the officer, who was previously posted at the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), will now report back to the Indian Trade Service (ITradeS) cadre, with the order also including the provision of an extended cooling-off period.
