Jahangeer Alam Ansari, currently serving as Chief General Manager at Indian Oil Corporation Limited, has been selected for the post of Director (Finance), Goa Shipyard Limited.
The selection was made during a meeting of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) held on July 24, 2025. Ansari emerged as the top choice among 10 candidates interviewed for the position.
His appointment marks a key leadership addition to Goa Shipyard Limited, a defence public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, at a time when the company is focusing on financial prudence and strategic expansion in maritime defence manufacturing.
