Justice Arvind Kumar Verma, who was serving as an Additional Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court, has been formally appointed as a Judge (i.e., Permanent Judge) of the same High Court; the Supreme Court Collegium, headed by the Chief Justice of India, had approved the proposal for his confirmation after evaluating his performance during his initial tenure as an Additional Judge, with his swearing-in ceremony taking place on December 12, 2025.
