HONG KONG – In a strategic move to unify its commercial operations, Lenovo has appointed company veteran Sumir Bhatia as its first Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for the Asia Pacific region.
Bhatia, who most recently served as the head of Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) in Asia Pacific, brings extensive leadership experience to this newly created role.
Key Mandate and Responsibilities
In his capacity as CCO, Bhatia will oversee a unified commercial structure designed to streamline Lenovo’s market presence across several key pillars:

Bhatia’s leadership will cover a vast and diverse geographic footprint, including:

Key Markets: India, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong SAR.

Leadership Structure
Bhatia will continue to report directly to Amar Babu, President of Lenovo Asia Pacific. The appointment is seen as a pivotal step in Lenovo’s “One Lenovo” strategy, aiming to provide a more cohesive experience for commercial clients by breaking down traditional business group silos.
