The Bihar government has issued transfer orders giving new responsibilities to seven IAS officers, affecting key roles in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Patna’s civic administration.
The major appointments include:
- Chandrashekhar Singh has been appointed as Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat. He has also been assigned the additional charges of Secretary, Disaster Management Department and Chairman, Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam Limited.
- Animesh Kumar Parasher was made Commissioner, Patna division, while retaining his post as Managing Director, BUIDCO.
- Yashpal Meena is the new Municipal Commissioner of the Patna Municipal Corporation.
- Shirshat Kapil Ashok has been shifted as Special Secretary, Road Construction Department, and given the additional charge of Comfed, among other responsibilities.
Other officers receiving new responsibilities include Himanshu Sharma, Pradhumn Singh Yadav, and Kritika Mishra.
