The Uttar Pradesh government has carried out a significant administrative reshuffle, assigning new responsibilities to eight IAS officers across key departments, corporations, and city administration roles.
The major appointments are:
- Mrs. Selva Kumari J. has been appointed as Director General, Technical Education, UP, and Secretary, Technical Education Department.
- Sameer Verma will take charge as Secretary, Planning Department, and Director General, Finance and Statistics.
- Prabhu Narayan Singh has been made Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC).
- Ashish Kumar is the new Managing Director of the UP State Tourism Development Corporation.
- Arpit Upadhyay has been posted as Municipal Commissioner, Kanpur City.
- Masoom Ali Sarwar has been posted as CEO, Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board.
Additionally, Sudhir Kumar is the new Special Secretary, Stamps and Registration Department and ADG, Registration, while Mrs. Anjulata has been appointed as Chief Development Officer, Rae Bareli.
