A significant reshuffle has impacted the leadership structure of the Delhi Police, with as many as 14 IPS officers receiving new postings. Several senior officers have been appointed to the rank of Special Commissioner of Police (Special CP), overseeing crucial divisions.
Key Special CP Appointments:
- Robin Hibu is appointed as Special CP, Human Resource Division.
- Rajesh Khurana takes over as Special CP, Provision & Finance Division.
- Neeraj Thakur has been made Special CP, Traffic Division.
- Devesh Chandra Srivastava will be posted as Special CP, Crime, with the added responsibility of Perception Management & Media Cell.
- Anil Shukla is posted as Special CP, Special Cell, additionally holding charge of Tech & PI Division.
- Manish Kumar Agarwal becomes Special CP, Intelligence Division, with an added charge of Public Transport Safety Division.
- Ajay Chaudhry is appointed Special CP, Vigilance Division, with an additional charge of SPUWAC.
- Atul Katiyar is posted as Special CP, Welfare Division, with extra charge of Licensing & Legal Division.
- K Jegadesan is appointed Special CP, Protective Security Division, with additional charge of MD, DPHCL.
Secretariat and Range Postings:
- Vijay Kumar is posted as Joint CP, CP Secretariat-cum-OSD to CP Delhi.
- Rajiv Ranjan Singh is posted as Additional CP, Eastern Range.
- Rohit Rajbir Singh will serve as DCP, CP Secretariat (Crime).
