SHIMLA (February 12, 2026) – In a significant administrative shift, the Himachal Pradesh government has appointed Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi, a 2012-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, as the Managing Director of the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited (MILKFED).
The appointment follows a major reshuffle on February 9, where Gandhi’s services were placed at the disposal of the Department of Personnel following his promotion to Deputy Inspector General (DIG). He transitions to this cooperative role after serving as the Superintendent of Police (SP) for Shimla.
