In a move to strengthen the financial and administrative framework of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), Mr. N. Venkataraman, a Senior Accounts Officer, has been posted to the Ministry of Law & Justice in Chennai. This appointment is specifically against a newly created/encadred post within the NCLAT’s Chennai bench. This strategic placement highlights the government’s focus on expanding the permanent administrative capacity of the appellate tribunal to handle the increasing volume of corporate litigation in South India.
