NEW DELHI (Feb 11, 2026) – In a milestone for medical regulation, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has appointed Dr. Sanjay Tiwari as the Chairperson of the National Dental Commission (NDC).
Dr. Tiwari, a distinguished academician and clinician, currently serves as the Principal of the Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences (PGIDS) in Rohtak, Haryana. His appointment marks a new chapter for the NDC, which was established under the National Dental Commission Act, 2023, to replace the decades-old Dental Council of India (DCI).
