NEW DELHI – In a strategic reshuffle of its evening programming, NDTV has announced a timing swap for two of its most prominent news shows, effective from Monday.
The recalibration involves two of the channel’s Managing Editors and their respective flagship programs:
-
The Buck Stops Here: Hosted by Padmaja Joshi, the show will move to the 8 PM slot.
-
India Matters: Anchored by Shiv Aroor, the program will now air at 9 PM on weeknights.
Both anchors confirmed the updates via their official social media handles. While the content positioning for both shows remains the same, the move is seen as a tactical adjustment to optimize viewership and audience retention in the highly competitive prime time news window.
This scheduling tweak reflects a broader effort by the network to refine its evening lineup while maintaining its core focus on senior editorial leadership and in-depth analysis.
