Nippon Paint India, a key subsidiary of the NIPSEA Group and Japan’s Nippon Paint Holdings, has articulated a comprehensive new growth strategy focused on long-term expansion in the Indian market. Under the leadership of its first Indian Managing Director, Sharad Malhotra, the company is shifting to a unified, India-centric operating model. The strategy prioritizes pan-India market penetration, manufacturing excellence across its seven Indian plants, and a move beyond its traditional strongholds in Southern India. By integrating its decorative, industrial, and automotive segments, Nippon Paint aims to leverage Japanese technical expertise and “Make in India” capabilities to build a self-sustaining, high-growth platform.
