Nitika Pawar, a senior 2012-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the AGMUT cadre, has taken charge as the General Manager (GM) of the Food Corporation of India (FCI), Regional Office, Chandigarh. Moving from her previous administrative roles within the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory) cadre, she is now tasked with managing one of the most critical hubs for India’s food grain procurement and distribution. Her leadership comes at a vital time as the FCI streamlines its digital procurement systems and focuses on enhancing storage infrastructure in the Punjab-Haryana region.
