NEW DELHI (Feb 9, 2026) – The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) has approved the premature repatriation of Ms. Divya Alathur Bharathan to her parent cadre. The move is intended to enable the officer to avail herself of promotion benefits within her original service.
A 2008 batch officer of the Indian Posts & Telecommunications Accounts and Finance Service (IP&TA&FS), Ms. Bharathan was serving as a Director in the DoPPW prior to this order.
