Prashant Kumar Singh, a 1993 batch IAS officer of the Manipur cadre, has been appointed as Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST). He will hold the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
His appointment underscores the government’s continued focus on strengthening institutions dedicated to the welfare and rights of Scheduled Tribes.
