The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri R.A. Chandra Sekhar, IPS (KL:1991), currently Special Director in the Intelligence Bureau, as Secretary (Security) in the Cabinet Secretariat. His appointment will take effect on or after August 1, 2025, or from the date of assumption of charge, whichever is earlier.
