Raj Kumar Arora, a 1990 batch officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), has taken over as the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA).
With extensive experience in financial policy, accounting, audit, budgeting, procurement, and personnel management, Arora is expected to bring robust oversight and reforms to India’s defence financial ecosystem. His leadership comes at a crucial time as the Ministry of Defence continues to modernize its accounting and procurement frameworks.
