Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit India on December 4-5, 2025, following an invitation extended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi; the visit, which was confirmed by the Kremlin and comes amid growing bilateral closeness despite US imposition of punitive tariffs over New Delhi’s Russian oil imports, will see the two leaders meet for talks following their recent discussion at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in China.
