Sajeev Sathyadasan, an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) currently serving as Deputy Director (Systems) in Mumbai, has resigned from the service. His resignation has been accepted by the competent authority within the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). Sathyadasan, who was part of the Income Tax cadre, was notably involved in the technological and systems-driven initiatives of the department in Mumbai. His departure marks a rare mid-career exit from the prestigious civil services, as he prepares to transition into new professional endeavors outside the government sector.
