GUWAHATI (Feb 17, 2026) — Santosh Kumar, a senior officer of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE), has been appointed as the Chief Electric Locomotive Engineer (CELE) for the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).
Currently serving within the same zone, Kumar’s elevation is an internal posting aimed at strengthening the electrical operations and locomotive maintenance across the NFR network.
