The Government of Nagaland has appointed Sentiyanger Imchen as the new Chief Secretary of Nagaland. A 1991-batch IAS officer, Imchen will succeed Jan-E-Alam, who is retiring today after completing his tenure.
Imchen, one of the senior-most IAS officers of the Nagaland cadre, will now head the state bureaucracy and play a key role in policy implementation and administrative reforms.
This leadership change marks an important transition at the top administrative level of Nagaland as the state prepares for upcoming governance priorities.
