Shubhranshu Singh, Global Chief Marketing Officer of Tata Motors’ Commercial Vehicles division, has officially stepped down from his role, concluding a transformative chapter in the company’s marketing journey.
Joining Tata Motors in October 2021 as Vice President – Marketing for Domestic and International Business (CVBU), Singh was instrumental in revamping the brand’s global marketing strategy, driving innovation, and expanding its commercial vehicle presence both in India and internationally.
Before Tata Motors, Singh held senior leadership roles at Royal Enfield, Hindustan Unilever, Diageo India, Visa Inc., and Star India, bringing over two decades of experience in brand building and consumer engagement.
A BIT Ranchi and IIFT Delhi alumnus, Singh was also featured in Forbes’ “World’s Most Influential CMOs” list in June 2025 and appointed to the inaugural Board of Directors for the Effie LIONS Foundation.
His exit marks a significant transition for Tata Motors’ marketing leadership at a time when the brand is navigating rapid industry transformation.
