Shyamal Chandra Mondal Appointed Managing Director of West Bengal Tribal Development Co-operative Corporation (WBTDCC)

In a move to strengthen the administration of tribal welfare in the state, Shyamal Chandra Mondal has been appointed as the Managing Director of the West Bengal Tribal Development Co-operative Corporation Ltd. (WBTDCC). Mondal takes charge of the corporation at a time when the state is focusing on the economic empowerment of tribal communities through the procurement of minor forest produce, specialized credit schemes, and the expansion of the “Karmashree” project within tribal belts.
