The Central Government has appointed Sudhakar Dalela, an officer of the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Grade-I, as Secretary (Economic Relations) in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
Dalela, a seasoned diplomat, brings extensive experience in international economic diplomacy and bilateral as well as multilateral engagements. His appointment is expected to strengthen India’s global economic partnerships and enhance international cooperation across trade, investment, and development initiatives.
This role is critical as India continues to expand its economic outreach and strengthen ties with strategic global partners.
