Dentsu India has announced the elevation of Sujeet Behra as the new President of Carat and Chief Strategy Officer of Dentsu Media, reinforcing the network’s focus on integrated leadership and strategic excellence. In his expanded role, Sujeet will report directly to Amit Wadhwa, CEO of Dentsu Creative & Media Brands, South Asia.
Sujeet has played a pivotal role at Carat over the past three years, holding key positions including Chief Growth Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, and Carat North Business Head. His leadership has been instrumental in driving innovation, client growth, and building a future-ready media strategy aligned with evolving industry dynamics.
This leadership transition follows the departure of Sanchayeeta Verma, who served as CEO of Carat and was known for her client-centric approach and collaborative leadership under the #OneDentsu ecosystem. She leaves behind a strong legacy, with Sujeet now taking the helm to guide Carat’s next phase of growth.
In his dual role, Sujeet will focus on delivering insight-driven, cross-functional media solutions that blend data, technology, and creativity, in alignment with Dentsu’s global vision. He will also play a key role in shaping Dentsu’s innovation roadmap to enhance client impact and business performance.
