In a notable move, the Andhra Pradesh government has reappointed two retired IAS officers to their previous roles as ex-officio Secretaries, effective July 1, following their retirement on June 30.
Hari Jawaharlal, a retired IAS officer, has been reinstated as Ex-Officio Secretary to the Governor at the Andhra Pradesh Raj Bhavan.
Similarly, S. Satyanarayana has been given a one-year extension and reappointed as Ex-Officio Secretary in the Backward Classes Welfare Department.
