In a strategic administrative reorganization, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has announced a fresh round of transfers for senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Provincial Civil Service (PCS) officers. The move, announced late Tuesday night, aims to strengthen governance and improve policy implementation across key departments.
Top Level IAS Postings
The reshuffle features significant changes at the Principal Secretary level:
-
V. Hekali Zhimomi (IAS: 1996): Following her recent repatriation from central deputation, Zhimomi has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of Forest, Environment, and Climate Change. She was previously awaiting a posting after serving as an Additional Secretary in the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
