GANGTOK — Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his two-day visit to Sikkim today, joining the state in celebrating 50 years of statehood. Marking the golden jubilee at Paljor Stadium, the Prime Minister lauded the Himalayan state as the “Heaven of the East,” praising its commitment to organic farming and peaceful cultural harmony.
The visit began with a relaxed start on Tuesday morning, as the Prime Minister was seen playing football with local youth in Gangtok before heading to official engagements.
