NEW DELHI — Advertising major Ogilvy has appointed Rimjhim Roy as Vice President – Strategy. In her new role, Roy will spearhead strategic operations for the high-profile Coke Nutrition portfolio and drive creative strategy initiatives for global energy giant bp.
A Proven Track Record in Brand Planning
Roy brings nearly a decade of strategic leadership and brand planning experience across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Her background spans multiple sectors, including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), healthcare, technology, and fashion.

Previous Stint: She joins Ogilvy from Edelman, where she served in a dual capacity as the lead healthcare planner for APAC and lead planner for Edelman Malaysia. There, she steered major campaigns for multinational healthcare brands such as Johnson & Johnson, Roche, Novartis, and Novo Nordisk.

Integrated Campaigns: Her diverse portfolio includes integrated and earned media campaigns for marquee brands like Starbucks, Unilever, Diageo, and Tencent Games.

Past Agencies: Prior to Edelman, Roy worked with 82.5 Communications and DDB Mudra Group, where she contributed to highly visible, award-winning campaigns, including Bisleri’s “Samajhdar Bisleri Peete Hain” and Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s “We Are Challengers” initiative.
An alumna of the prestigious MICA Ahmedabad, Roy graduated with academic honors in advertising strategy in 2017. Her appointment reinforces Ogilvy’s focus on deepening its strategic capabilities for integrated global accounts.
