MUMBAI — Veteran film critic and media executive Anupama Chopra has stepped down as Editor of The Hollywood Reporter India (THR India), transitioning into a broader role as Advisor for parent entity RPSG Lifestyle Media.
Chopra, who has led the publication since its Indian debut in September 2024, will relinquish day-to-day editorial operations to focus on high-impact creative projects, special editorial initiatives, and intellectual property (IP) development across the group’s media portfolio. Sneha Menon Desai, currently Deputy Editor, will assume the role of Editor effective October 1, 2026.

Advisory Mandate: In her new capacity, Chopra will leverage her industry network and editorial expertise to steer high-level creative projects across RPSG Lifestyle Media titles, while retaining flexibility to pursue independent creative ventures outside the group.

Leadership Handover: Founding editorial team member and Deputy Editor Sneha Menon Desai will formally take charge of editorial operations on October 1.
