NEW DELHI — In a move to ensure administrative continuity across India’s major maritime gateways, Sushil Kumar Singh, the current Chairperson of the Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) in Kandla, has been entrusted with the additional charge as Chairperson (Joint Secretary level) of the New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA).
The appointment, cleared by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, is effective for a period of six months, running from June 1, 2026, through November 30, 2026, or until a regular incumbent is appointed.
