NEW DELHI — In a key administrative decision, the central government has approved the extension of the central deputation tenure of Ms. Priyanka Chandra, currently serving as Director in the Ministry of Culture.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) cleared her extension for a period of two years, pushing her tenure beyond its initial deadline of October 3, 2026, and running up to October 3, 2028.
