MUMBAI — In a major administrative development, former Maharashtra Director General of Police (DGP) Rashmi Shukla has been officially appointed as a member of the state’s apex anti-corruption judicial institution, the Lokayukta.
Shukla, a highly decorated retired Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the 1988 batch, transitions into the statutory oversight body following a long career in senior law enforcement and intelligence administration.
