Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi stated on Wednesday that the newly passed Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 in the Lok Sabha will establish a significantly tougher legal framework to eliminate exam malpractices across the country.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) following the passage of the bill, the Education Minister highlighted that the legislation introduces stringent penal provisions, fast-track judicial oversight, and upgraded investigative capabilities to safeguard the integrity of public examinations.
